Seven Johnson County Municipal Routes Exist
The Circuit Clerk maintains municipal records for Centerview, Chilhowee, Holden, Kingsville, Knob Noster, and Leeton. Warrensburg has a separate city Municipal Court office. That structure explains why one county search cannot be assumed to cover every traffic, ordinance, or failure-to-appear matter. Start with the city and case named on the citation.

The official clerk page shown here provides the municipal divisions and Case.net routes.
Knob Noster Links Appearance and Ability to Pay
Chapter 125 says failure to appear may lead to a warrant and a $25 additional court cost. It also describes ability-to-pay review, payment alternatives, and community service or reduction options. Those safeguards belong beside the fee detail. The amount is not a bond and does not establish that payment alone clears every court order.
Leeton Is a Johnson County Circuit Division
Leeton’s code places ordinance cases in a municipal division of the Johnson County circuit structure. It lists a $15 court cost and $3 police-training fee, with possible additional costs. Those figures are code fields, not a verified warrant bond. The Circuit Clerk is the stronger case-record contact, and the issuing judge controls recall.
Not on the Sheriff Page Does Not Mean No City Warrant
The Sheriff’s Most Wanted program is selected and countywide in purpose, not a complete index of city-court orders. A municipal warrant can remain with the court and serving agency without appearing there. Check Case.net and the municipal clerk. A detention-roster search also cannot replace that court inquiry.
Ask the Johnson County City Court Five Questions
Confirm whether a warrant exists, whether a judge must act, the next appearance, available payment-plan or community-service options, and when recall reaches law enforcement. Also ask about identification and accepted payment before visiting. No common countywide form, bond amount, counter schedule, or same-day recall promise was verified for all municipal divisions.
